Het basisinkomen zou door de Belastingdienst uitbetaald en verrekend kunnen worden. The Clean Clothes Campaign aim at improving working conditions in the garment industry, world-wide. The campaigns are coalitions of consumer organisations, trade unions, researchers, solidarity groups, world shops and other activists. The campaigns inform consumers about the conditions in which their garments and sportswear are produced and pressure retailers to take responsibility for these conditions. The main demand is that they should accept a good code of conduct and a system of independent monitoring. The campaigns co-operate with organisations all over the world. Human Rights for Workers focuses on how globalization affects working men and women and on how it creates the need to incorporate the human rights of workers into global rules at the national, regional, and international levels through governmental, quasi-governmental, private business, labor union, and other non-governmental channels. The International Confederation of Free Trade Unions, ICFTU, was set up in 1949 and has 221 affiliated organisations in 148 countries and territories on all five continents, with a membership of 156 million. It has three major regional organisations, APRO for Asia and the Pacific, AFRO for Africa, and ORIT for the Americas. It also maintains close links with the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) (which includes all ICFTU European affiliates) and International Trade Secretariats, which link together national unions from a particular trade or industry at international level. The National Labor Committee, NLC, is a human rights advocacy group, dedicated to promoting and defending the rights of workers. Through establishing long standing working relationships with non-governmental, human rights, labor and religious organizations, primarily in Latin America, the NLC puts a human face on the global economy. The NLC educates and actively involves the public in actions aimed at ending labor abuses, improving living conditions for workers and their families and promoting the concept of a living wage and true independent monitoring. Omslag is een onafhankelijke landelijke basisorganisatie die mensen bijeenbrengt rond de thema's milieu, vrede, cultuur, werk, economie en solidariteit. Met publicaties, bijeenkomsten en doe-activiteiten werkt Omslag sinds 1994 aan een kleurrijke, duurzame samenleving. Omslag is ondermeer uitgever van ZOZ, tijdschrift voor doen-denkers (tweemaandelijks). Een proefnummer is op aanvraag gratis verkrijgbaar, als u een postadres opgeeft. Solidariteit: Blad voor een strijdbare vakbeweging. Solidariteit is een tweemaandelijks 'papieren' tijdschrift dat deze digitale uitgave als een uitbreiding van zijn activiteiten ziet. Solidariteit wordt sinds 1983 gemaakt door en voor leden van de Nederlandse vakbonden, is financieel, organisatorisch en politiek onafhankelijk, verschijnt zes keer per jaar en geeft af en toe een brochure of boek uit. Daarnaast wordt een maandelijks vakbondscafé in Amsterdam, Den Haag en Rotterdam georganiseerd, minstens één maal per jaar een lezersconferentie en een landelijk netwerk van actieve vakbondsleden. Wat bonden nalaten, onderbelichten of onderschatten krijgt ruime aandacht. Solidariteit onderhoudt op internationaal niveau intensieve contacten met verwante bladen in België, Duitsland, Engeland, Frankrijk en de Verenigde Staten.
